I didn't realize how long it has been
Jeezus where did the time go? ^^;
Not much of an update. I don't have much free time these days so I mostly craft when I have the time and oftentimes don't remember to post photos of my works here, or even on my craft account (RedheadWithThread; DeviantArt won't let me link, for some reason). It's hard to do much of anything when you have a toddler who wants to "help" by trying to take this supply or that one or scribble on your work as you draw. :stare:
I'm easier to find on Instagram if you need anything because IG's app makes it so easy to post up photos of my craft projects.
Hopefully I'll get some time to draw soon.
And also hope to get

So I failed NaNoWriMo because I didn't get 50k words.
I believe I only made around 20k, and that's not all written up as a coherent story. Just bits and pieces of scenes and world-building ideas.
I figure over the next year I can come up with more ideas for it and hopefully type up the story next November, if not before then.
These days I mostly try to keep the toddler from destroying my house and seriously injuring or killing himself (he likes climbing on EVERYTHING).
He currently has a purple bruise in the center of his forehead because he ran into my sewing table. And I mean ran in the literal sense: he was running around the living/d

It's a little over a week in and I've only got 1871 words. And they're not very good words.
I don't have a cohesive plot. I started out with one and my characters decided "No, that's not our plot" and it changed.
No, I'm not crazy: when is started, I just had the characters and a plot that were created separately and I tried tweaking the characters to suit the plot.
But they weren't created for that plot so it felt way too forced so I'm trying to come up with a better one.
Right now, I'm just typing up scenes as they come to me, fleshing my characters out more and trying to build up the plot.

And now I remember why...
I rarely let my in-laws keep my son.
Monday afternoon my mother-in-law (from here on, MIL) brought Lucius home.
Yay! I was happy to see him after he was gone for a week.
When MIL dropped him off, his nose was dripping snot and he had a wet cough and a low fever.
No big deal. Probably just a cold.
But when I called later (I gave her time to get home) and asked MIL how long he'd been that way, her reply was more or less that she didn't know (she didn't outright say "I don't know" but something along the lines of "Uh...since a few days or so ago?") but that "it's just because he's teething."
Y'all, I was PISSED. :rage:
She'd better than
